New Free Online Gem Courses in Farsi and Italian
Our collection of free gemmology courses keeps expanding. After English, French, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese, learners can now discover the world of gems in Farsi and Italian, bringing SSEF’s expertise to an ever wider audience.
The Swiss Gemmological Institute SSEF is part of a non-profit Swiss foundation dedicated to advancing the science of gemstone testing and gemmological education.
Every year, SSEF examines many of the world’s most famous and exceptional gemstones. To share our knowledge and our passion for gems with a wider audience, we have developed a series of free online gem courses, and we are delighted to announce that they are now available in two new languages.
In Farsi, you can now explore five courses covering Diamonds, Emeralds, Pearls, Rubies and Sapphires.
In Italian, our course on Diamonds is now online.
Additional free courses on Garnets, Jade, Opals, Spinels and Tourmalines are available in English, French, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Japanese. Some courses are also offered in Burmese.
