SSEF director awarded 2024 Bonanno award for gemmological excellence

Dr. Michael S. Krzemnicki, director of SSEF, is the AGA Antonio Bonanno Award recipient for 2024. Dr. Krzemnicki will be formally recognized at the gala dinner dance following the AGA Gemological Conference on February 05, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. He has been invited to give a presentation on the topic of “Age dating of gemstones” during the AGA conference on February 5th.

The AGA Antonio C. Bonanno Award recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the gemological field. Recipients of the award are selected by a majority vote of the AGA membership.

As the 2024 recipient of the AGA Antonio C. Bonanno Award for Excellence in Gemology, Dr. Krzemnicki joins an impressive roster of the world’s leading gemologists.
