How to place an order correctly and ensure your items are shipped efficiently:
Download the client order form (pdf) and follow these instructions:
- Please fill out the SSEF client form with all the informations needed and include it in your parcel. It is mandatory to sign this form.
- Include a pro forma invoice, too, with the weight and insurance value of each stone, pearl or item of jewellery.
- Please fax or email us the pro forma invoice, so that we are informed about your mailing as well.

How does it work?
You contact the Malca-Amit or Ferrari office in your country and mention that you need a round trip service for certification/ expertise of your gems to the SSEF in Basel.
You define your rate for freight and liability for export and import, i.e. to and from SSEF in Basel.
Included in the SSEF round-trip package of both providers, Malca-Amit and Ferrari, are the following services:
- Pick up and delivery in the city of your choice (London, Paris, New York, Hongkong, Bangkok)
- Airfreight valuable cargo
- Temporary export-import in the appropriate cities (London, Paris, New York, Hongkong, Bangkok)
- Domestic transport: Zurich/Geneva Airport to Basel; Basel to Zurich/Geneva Airport
- Swiss customs: VAT guarantee fees for Temporary Import Bond (TIB)
