Prof. Hänni receives distinction from ICA International Colored Gemstone Association

During the ICA Congress in Dubai in May 2007 Prof. Henry A. Hänni, director of the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute, was presented with a "Lifetime Achievement Award by a grateful industry in recognition and appreciation for a lifetime of distinguished service to the colored gemstone industry worldwide". The ICA (International Colored Gemstone Association) is the largest international body of gemstone miners, cutters and wholesalers. The award is given as a tribute to significant and meaningful contributions to ICA and to the growth of the international colored gemstone industry and trade.
